Ingredients:
Juice – Make sure to choose a juice without added sugars. Depending on how sweet or sour you want your mulled wine, you should choose your fruit juice. If mulled wine tastes too sour in the end, add some maple syrup.
Pomegranate juice, red grape juice, and apple juice altogether is a good combo – moderately sweet.
Red grape juice and cranberry juice work as well. If you like it more sour, add more cranberry juice.
Orange – Use orange slices or orange peels. They give extra taste and make it pretty for serving. If you don’t have a fresh orange, add 1/2 cup of orange juice instead. If you like it more sour, add a slice of lemon or lemon juice instead.
Cinnamon – I used a cinnamon stick but if you can’t find them, use cinnamon powder instead.
Clove – You can use clove pods or powdered cloves as well. I prefer clove pods.
Nutmeg – You can use powdered nutmeg or grate some yourself.
